Term 2 2018 classes are running now. On 30 June, the final day of term, our Sinfonia Orchestra will present a concert at 1:30pm at Hillcrest Baptist Church, Knighton Road.

Exam Stream – For those who want to target their learning towards practical graded exams, these classes are individualised or in very small groups, and focus on the syllabus requirements for recognised exam boards – Trinity College, ABRSM and NZMEB. Tuition fees depend on grade level.

Music Makers Assistant required, working with children ages 3-5. We are looking for the right person for this special role. Email ashaffer@waikato.ac.nz for a role description.

Erhu & Tabla – We are taking expressions of interest in learning both the erhu, a traditional two-stringed bowed Chinese instrument, and Tabla, traditional Indian drums. Contact us for details.

Ensembles: Any student who has at least one paid tuition enrolment can attend ANY ensemble, and as many as he/she would like to attend, at no additional charge, on tutor advice. Students are also welcome to enrol for just an ensemble. We have Flute, Guitar and Ukulele ensembles, as well as a Concert Band, String Ensemble and Sinfonia Orchestra. Contact us for details.
